Earlier this week, the WFFT Elephant Refuge staff and volunteers conducted a big clean up of Khan Kluey and Som Boon’s enclosure.Khan Kluey is our only bull elephant and is very playful. He loves to play in the lake, with big enrichment balls and tyres and loves swimming for food which has been thrown into his lake. Some volunteers are inside the enclosure throwing poo out over the wall, while others are outside, collecting it. It is always a fun project, and throwing & avoiding poo has become a national sport here.
