Clearing our elephant lakes is an iconic volunteer project! These plants keep the water cool for elephants to swim in and also provide a great habitat for fish, invertebrates, and wading birds. However, they grow too fast and need to be managed. It’s also a fun way for volunteers to cool down on a hot day!
