Thong Phoon’, the underweight, 23-year-old female Asian elephant we are taking care since earlier this month, is still with us.
We are still seeking founds to secure her freedom. Indeed we finally found an agreement with her owner. We already had some generous online donations but we still have a long way to go.
We are also working on the construction of a special enclosure for her be able to be full time chain free.
Hopefully we hope that she will, at a point, join the rest of the project 4 herd!
