Yesterday after a short illness we said a final farewell to Boon Mee. She spent the majority of her life in the logging or tourism industries. We rescued her in November 2012 at the age of 55. Boon Mee experienced 7 happy years of freedom here at the WFFT Elephant Refuge after her long life of abuse. We will continue to fight for those that are not so fortunate. Rest in Peace Old Girl.
