Directions:
From Bangkok take the bus to Cha Am or Thayang from the southern bus terminal.
From Cha Am it is best to take a taxi to the center that will cost around Baht 400 (US$ 12.-).
From Thayang there is a bus, but it does not run regularly.
Volunteers will be picked up free of charge from Thayang or Cha Am.

The Thai Elephant Refuge is open to visitors 7 days a week BUT ONLY ON APPOINTMENT or a booked tour. Please note, last admission is at 4pm.

WFFT has until 2015 rescued and nurtured back to health many mistreated Elephants from all over Thailand. Each elephant has a sad story but all with a happy ending. Help us to continue helping these beautiful animals by donating, visiting or volunteering!
